Felling/Harvesting

On some of the larger liability contracts that we handle the are significant amounts of timber both hardwood and softwood, in these cases we can do all the felling/dismantling and the timber can be extracted to roadside then transport organized to send the timber to the various markets, this can help with the costs of the work carried out on behalf of the customer.

We also carry out a woodland thinning operations which involves felling a percentage of the trees within the woodland allowing the remaining trees to grow on, it can also mean that on occasions the trees are mature and it is time to clear fell an area ready to replant, both thinning and clear fell operations would usually bring a return for the client once the timber is extracted and sold.
